Best Cafes Stuttgart
There are free parking, a baggage storage and an elevator provided on-site. Hipster coffee shop vibes, good food, good coffee, very friendly staff. Excellent coffee and espresso as well. The generous portion is served with a basket of wheat and whole grain bread and a side of mixed salad greens with a divine semi-sweet dressing sprinkled lightly on top.
Drinking this masterpiece is an experience every coffee lover should try. Second time a similar story. Having constant espresso nostalgia coming from my Italian upbringing, and living in a country not exactly known for its coffee culture, I'd been missing what I'd consider a really great coffee.
Moulu - Add freshly squeezed orange juice, and it all sure hits the spot to end a wonderful brunch.
Moulu has great food, they definitely do. But I have to make this review about their coffee. And by coffee I specifically mean their cappuccinos. At Moulu you will arguably get the best cappuccino there is in Stuttgart. It is very competitively priced, but the most fascinating part about their cappuccino is that when I drink it it is almost as if they have infused the cream into the coffee. It is so strange when I drink it because it tastes so smooth to me its almost like drinking a nice warm chocolate milk or a hot chocolate, except coffee of course. If you are in the area though Stuttgart is not big at all so better said, if you visit Stuttgart, stop by and try one of the cappuccinos for under 3 eur and just give it a shot. It will be one of the better cappuccinos you have had. Food is good, environment is cool, and staff is friendly. Very good on a Sunday morning. Hipster coffee shop vibes, good food, good coffee, very friendly staff. Indoor and outdoor seating, people bring their dogs and sit outside. Café Moulu is a definite hot spot in Stuttgart West. Whether it's for breakfast or for lunch, tables will be packed inside and out, to the point where windowsills get replaced with cushions and extra tables get brought out to absorb more customers. After walking by without stopping once too often I have no regrets finally giving it a try as I've finally discovered an excellent coffee hub in the city of Stuttgart that I truly feel comfortable with. Having constant espresso nostalgia coming from my Italian upbringing, and living in a country not exactly known for its coffee culture, I'd been missing what I'd consider a really great coffee. Perhaps I just failed to go to the right places, maybe my tastes buds differ from the rest, or maybe just maybe. I'm too gosh darn picky. I'm definitely not the one to have a final say on such matters. Right, back to the main point behind this review: Café Moulu has a wonderful selection from a proper espresso yes. Along with the amazing flavor, what has me convinced might possibly have something to do with the delicate leaf designs drawn in the cappuccino foam or the kind and smiling staff handling my order. Any little effort is a plus in my book. Drinks aren't the only bonus as the breakfast menu is quite unforgettable as well. The generous portion is served with a basket of wheat and whole grain bread and a side of mixed salad greens with a divine semi-sweet dressing sprinkled lightly on top. Talk about a meal to start of the day, right. On another visit, I had natural yogurt moulu stuttgart a mixture of seasonal fruits and oats - a choice equally delicious as it delivers a perfect sense of freshness to start the day right. Add freshly squeezed orange juice, and it all sure hits the spot to end a wonderful brunch. The coffee, food, and, maybe most of all, the unpretentious atmosphere are close to flawless. If I've convinced any of you to go, then I'll probably see you around some time soon. I'd say one of the best brunches in Stuttgart that offers more than just bread, cold cuts and cheeses. Maybe I just miss a good place with variety of omelettes. So, I just tried the maulis with everything maultaschen with tomatoes, feta, eggs and a fresh salad. We got lots of attention maybe cause it was later and past the busy hours of early breakfast. Love the place and can recommend it highly. Will be going back soon. At first glance a great place - stylish interior, good food and great coffee. Problem is the dismayal service. We have been there twice, first time we got drinks after more than an hour; second time we got yelled at and part of the order didn't make it at all. First time they simply forgot our order. Mistakes happen, but we asked them twice to check, but no one actually did. They only checked when we still didn't have food or drinks after 50 min waiting. Moulu stuttgart time a similar story. They took our order and the food came super quick after 10 min. When I asked if we could also have drinks tea and coffee with the hot food, we were told that that was an unreasonable expectations, that drinks just took a while as they were short in staff, and we should just eat our food and then have our drinks. Its ok if things take longer, but a 'sorry, we are trying to get the drinks to you as fast as possible' would also have been an option rather than yelling at us. And, guess what, the coffee made its way moulu stuttgart after the eggs were done, but I actually never got the tea I ordered. I got sick of constantly reminding them for things they forgot butter, napkins, fruit salad, etcso didn't bother. In short: we won't come back. It's a shame - the moulu stuttgart has good food and potential. But I have to make this review about their coffee. And by coffee I specifically mean their cappuccinos. But the personel is very creative to find a quick solition for finding enough space and places. Very good on a Sunday morning! It is so strange when I drink it because it tastes so smooth to me its almost like drinking a nice warm chocolate milk or a hot chocolate, except coffee of course. It's similar to a gift certificate to Moulu but it gets redeemed online and is more flexible because the funds can be spend anywhere the recipient wants. You can choose from a list of add ons, yummy ham, feta, veggies, and they come with tasty fresh bread and salad, t's awesome! Talk about a meal to start of the day, right?
